Getting in touch

Email furniturewala@yahoo.com. Please say which device you are using and which version of iOS, iPadOS, macOS or watchOS is on it — Settings › General › About on an iPhone, iPad or Watch, or the Apple menu › About This Mac. Most problems turn out to be specific to one device or one OS version.

Using the app

Adding an assignment

Tap + on the To Do screen. A title is all that is required; the class, due date, description and photo are optional. Tap Save to add it to your list.

Attaching a photo

On the New Task screen, use Take Photo to photograph a worksheet or the whiteboard, or Choose from Library to attach a picture you already have. On a Mac there is no Take Photo button, because Macs have no camera picker — use Choose from Library instead.

Marking work done

Tap an assignment to open it, then Mark as Done. It moves to the Archive rather than being deleted. To bring it back, open it in the Archive and reopen it, or swipe it in the list.

Deleting for good

Swipe an assignment in the Archive and choose Delete. That is permanent — there is no undo, and the deletion syncs to your other devices.

Syncing between devices

How it works

Each device keeps its own copy of your homework and syncs it through your private iCloud storage. There is no server and no account beyond your Apple Account.

If your devices are not showing the same homework

Check each of these in turn:

If homework still is not appearing on another device after all of that, please email with both device models and OS versions, and roughly how long you waited.

The Apple Watch app

Getting it onto the watch

The watch app is included with the iPhone app and installs alongside it, which can take a few minutes. If it does not appear, open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll to Available Apps, and tap Install.

What it can and cannot do

The watch shows pending homework, lets you tick something off, and lets you add an assignment with a title, class and due date. Editing, photos, descriptions and the Archive stay on the iPhone, iPad and Mac.

The watch shows different homework from my phone

The watch keeps its own copy and syncs through iCloud in the same way as every other device — it is not a mirror of the iPhone. Work through the syncing checklist above; it applies to the watch too.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for. Syncing uses the Apple Account you are already signed into.

Can I use it without iCloud?

Yes. The app works normally on a single device without iCloud — your homework simply stays on that device and does not sync.

Is my homework private?

Yes. It is stored on your devices and in your own private iCloud database. There are no analytics, no ads and no third-party services. See the privacy policy.

Does it send reminders?

Not in this version. Overdue assignments are marked in red in the list.

Will I lose my homework if I delete the app?

Deleting the app removes the copy on that device. If you sync through iCloud, your homework is still on your other devices and returns when you reinstall.
