Thumbs does not collect your data. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no account to create. Your test results live on your iPhone. The app contains no networking code at all, so there is nothing for it to send and nowhere for it to send it.
This is written to your iPhone's own preferences store, inside the app's private container. It is not sent anywhere, not backed up to any server of ours, and not shared with anyone. If your iPhone is set up to back itself up to iCloud or to a computer, this data is included in that backup like any other app's — that backup is yours and is covered by Apple's privacy policy rather than this one.
The words you type during a test are compared against the target words to score the test, and then discarded. They are never stored and never transmitted. Because the app disables autocorrect and predictive text, nothing you type is offered to the keyboard's learning system either.
Tap the chart button, then Clear, to erase your history from within the app. Deleting Thumbs from your iPhone removes everything it holds, including your settings. There is no synced copy anywhere to clean up afterwards.
Thumbs is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If a future version of Thumbs ever collects data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
